Delivery of a business change portfolio to outsource Investment Operations, Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency services from existing provider to a new provider, including a lift out of some internal functions. This migration was driven by a desire for service improvements and reduced costs and impacted the whole organisation, requiring the re-engineering of every business to business interface as well as touching a large proportion of the existing business processes. Third parties involved: BNP, State Street, JPMorgan.
Management of Investment Operations and IT aspects of the acquisition of New Star Asset Management (c. £10bn AUM, 300+ people). The key objective was to get the funds onto Henderson’s platform as soon after the legal completion as possible. This stream covered development of new / changed business model, migration of people and funds to Henderson platform (including outsourced functions), infrastructure development and management of third parties. |
